Last year's 19th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony was held on Friday, November 15th in Heritage Sqaure. The traditional event featured musical entertainment by local school choirs, Bagpiper Liam McGlashon, and the Ferguson Young Band. Even Santa Claus himself came to see the giant Christmas tree in Heritage Square light up for the first time that season!

The second annual Kerrfest 2015 took place on Friday Sept. 11th and Saturday Sept. 12th. Despite the rainy weather there was a good turnout for all the activities that took place throughout Kerr Village.
